With just two weeks to go until the Los Angeles Marathon, Team EPI is officially in the final stretch, and this moment reflects far more than the miles ahead.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, Team EPI has officially reached and exceeded our $25,000 fundraising goal in support of Team Fox, the grassroots fundraising arm of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. This achievement is a direct result of the support we have received from friends, family, colleagues, industry partners, and advocates who believe deeply in the importance of advancing Parkinson’s research.

The latest episode of Behind the Build with EPI Construction takes us inside Bar di Bello, a boutique restaurant nearing completion at the Sunset Row retail center in Silver Lake, California. As construction reaches the final stages, the video highlights not only the craftsmanship behind the space but also the collaboration between the construction team, ownership, and development partners who helped bring the vision to life.

Thanks to the generosity of our extended community, Team EPI has officially surpassed the halfway point of our $25,000 fundraising goal, with only six weeks left before race day!

Although I was only officially diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in early 2024 at 67, my tremors began long before that. I’ve had hand shaking for as long as I can remember. In school I earned good grades but always a “minus” in penmanship, as my writing was nearly unreadable. The best thing that ever happened was discovering WordPerfect in the early 80s, so I didn’t have to write anymore!

Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). This exciting event gives our team the opportunity to go beyond the finish line, raising both awareness and critical funds for Parkinson’s research.
